Legal
Privacy Policy.
Effective 2026. Please also review our Terms of Use.
1. Information we collect
When you submit a case review, consultation request, or case inquiry, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, and the description of your matter.
When you use the site, we automatically collect limited technical information such as pages viewed, referring URL, campaign parameters (for example utm_source and utm_campaign), approximate device type, and clicks on phone numbers or share buttons. This helps us understand which pages and offices generate inquiries.
2. How we use information
We use submitted information to evaluate your potential matter, respond to your inquiry, conduct conflict checks, and — if we are engaged — represent you. We use technical and analytics information to operate, secure, and improve the website and to measure our advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Confidentiality of inquiries
Information you send before a signed engagement agreement may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege. Please do not include sensitive medical records, account numbers, or confidential documents in a web form.
4. Service providers
We use third-party providers to host this site, store form submissions securely, deliver email, and provide analytics and advertising measurement (which may include Google Analytics and Google Ads). These providers may process limited information on our behalf under their own terms, and may set cookies or similar identifiers.
5. Cookies and tracking
We and our analytics providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to remember your language preference, attribute inquiries to the correct office or campaign, and measure conversions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some site features may then work differently.
6. Text messages and calls
If you provide a phone number and consent to be contacted, we may call or text you about your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or telling us during any call.
7. Data retention and security
We retain inquiry records for as long as needed to respond, meet our professional and ethical obligations, and comply with law. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls on our internal intake dashboard. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information you submitted by emailing intake@blackdiamondlaw.com. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, and you may exercise them without discriminatory treatment.
9. Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. A parent or guardian should submit any inquiry involving a minor.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the effective date below reflects the current version. Questions may be directed to intake@blackdiamondlaw.com or 888.977.2238, 10700 Santa Monica Blvd, Suite 200, Los Angeles, California 90025.
